Would strongly not recommend
Former Tenant
Pros:
Near the trains, good neighborhood
Cons:
Landlord is a crook,
Rats,
Roaches,
Water damage and possibly flooding,
To much damage but not enough money to fix it, which is putting peoples lives and things in jeopardy
Advice to owner:
Honestly fix what actually needs to be fixed and if just collecting a check is your only reason and not creating a safe place for people to live then find another investment because you’re scum

Too Good to be True
Former Tenant
Pros:
laundry in unit, private rooftop deck, camera intercom system, high ceilings, a skylight, exposed brick, large closet
Cons:
THERE’S A ROACH INFESTATION! It’s not even a pre-war building, yet all units have pests problems that make the building UNLIVABLE. This is why myself and others moved! Extermination is not done. The pipes are also unlivable as anytime someone used water, the pipes in my bedroom would loudly bang. Each floor is offered different amenities (some none) and there are many current lawsuits between certain tenants and management resulting in lawyers roaming the hallways and the mailboxes being moved outside of the building to avoid loitering. I never saw or met a super, property manager, landlord etc. There was often construction going on inside the building which we were never given notice of, causing more pests.
Advice to owner:
EXTERMINATE. Communicate. Bring building up to code for standard of living, don’t just make it look pretty to charge a lot.
