Totally Roach Infested

Pros:
Location is good for trains and they allow pets. The super is live-in and he's very kind and works super hard.
Cons:
Our apartment was a shoebox and worth it for the price at the time but we had roaches coming out of the walls like crazy and the property owners gaslit us even when pest control was telling us there was a known problem.
Advice to owner:
Mandate building-wide roach treatments.

Affordable
AMAZING super
Sweet communal neighbors
Elevator working 95% of the time
Good bones
Post is rarely stolen and super brings it to door if he has free time!
Cons:
Not much to add, not many supermarkets in the area, only moving because the apartment we have is too small for us and there are no bigger ones open in the building!
Pest control comes on the 1st however we're rarely home on these days - have seen increase in bugs over the last few months (we're clean people!)
Advice to owner:
Not much!

Apartment itself is very large for the price, and location is pretty good
Cons:
Issue with flies in the apartment; it was not clean when I moved in; gas leak was happening in the unit underneath mine when I moved in, and I had to call National Grid to have them take a look

Too many bugs and mice.

Pros:
Big building. Most of the neighbors are friendly. Big rooms.
Cons:
so many roaches and mice. Neighbors leave trash in hall and in front of elevator attracting bugs. Horrible water pressure and hot water is not reliable.
Advice to owner:
Have porter clean all floors more often. More security cameras at mail area to prevent package theft. penalize neighbors who leave trash in the halls.

Pros:
Location next to prospect park
Cons:
Lots of roaches all year round and mice in the winter. Apartment needs to be renovated cracks in all the molding/baseboards so roaches have open access to your home. Radiator would spew water from it in the living room
Advice to owner:
Renovate and fix your pest problem

Very nice super, decent apartments, close to train + laundromat
Cons:
Package thieves for 6+ months, elevator always breaking down, can hear neighbors usually
Advice to owner:
Increase building security
