Good Building, Loud Street
Former Tenant
Pros:
I lived here for 5 years, and had a positive experience. Clean building, good neighbors, responsive management and super.
Cons:
There are roaches, like almost any large-prewar building, but so long as you sign up for the exterminator every month, you will not have an issue. Empire Blvd gets loud, but the building itself is good.

I like it here
Former Tenant
Pros:
- Large rooms - Clean - Clean and working laundry area - Helpful management - Elevators in good shape
- Emailed management about large gap under our front door that was allowing roaches and one mouse to get in. Our door is right next to garbage shoot so we wanted a guard on our door to block. Emailed and within a few hours, supers we’re screwing in a blocker.
Cons:
- Empire Blvd can get loud and bring in lots of soot at windows - Poorly insulted windows and floors

The appearance will probably fool you. Don’t believe it.
Former Tenant
Pros:
Reasonably clean building with laundry Fantastic live-in super
Cons:
Non-existent insulation. Prepare to hear your neighbors’ every step, their phone vibrations and conversations, and even bathroom usage. I haven’t slept since I moved in. Hostile landlord/building manager (Debra). Insanely loud clanking radiators that the super claims should not be sounding like they do but they never get fixed. Constant water bugs/roaches in basement laundry room and elevators.
Advice to owner:
Insulate your floors with every new renovation. They need it.
