Absentee landlords and negligent management company
Former Tenant
Pros:
The building is in a great location: very close to the park and the B/Q trains. The owners also provided laundry in the basement of the building, as well as access to the backyard space.
Cons:
The landlords are just as absentee as the next one. However, the management company (Signature Management) was very difficult to get ahold of and did not respond promptly to nearly any complaints about the building. It took several repeated follow ups for them to fix anything, including repairs, garbage disposal in front of the building, and an urgent leak. I can't in good faith recommend this management company to landlords or tenants. If you are going to be an absentee landlord, at least hire a responsive management company. Furthermore, it took them months to return the security deposit.
