Stole security deposit

Rent was cheap but for a reason
Cons:
-Laundry was broken for many months and lots of pests
-never returned security deposit despite telling us that we left the apartment in “stellar” condition
Advice to owner:
Return people’s security deposit

scammed 2 separate tenant groups

spacious master bedroom, renovated, quiet
Cons:
scumlord who stole the security deposit of myself and the tenant who rented the apartment after me. no documentation. we did a walk thru, he said it looked great and would mail me a check. then he ghosted me. i initiated legal action but the hoops weren’t worth it.
Advice to owner:
stop ripping people off
