Perfectly adequate apartment
Former Tenant
Pros:
Decent size living room, friendly neighbors, good heat and water.
Cons:
Unit was incredibly dirty upon moving in and has a lot of small damages that need repairs. Also a lot of big dogs barking, but what can you do. Fairly overpriced for the area.

Worst apartment experience in NYC
Former Tenant
Pros:
The apartment itself was spacious and cheap
Cons:
Landlord would not complete basic repairs e.g. left a hole in my ceiling for weeks after a portion of the ceiling collapsed. Stole my security deposit after trying to convince me to not move out or to move to one of their other properties.
Advice to owner:
Be better.

Abysmal Experience
Former Tenant
Pros:
The heat works.
Cons:
There's continually mold, and the floors are splitting, leaving sharp pieces of wood everywhere. The plaster/walls are cracking, the ceiling is sinking in several apartments and the pipes are very old and likely are completely rusted.. There's continuous mold/dust, and they refused to install a fan in the bathroom or repair floors/walls. My guess is the entire apartment isn't up to code, and they take no accountability for the dangerous conditions this can pose for the tenants.
