This was honestly my worse apt in NYC
Former Tenant
Pros:
The bathroom was small but it was clean and recently renovated. My building manager Lucious was the only other good thing about living there. He was very helpful and attentive helping me dispose of mice and water bugs when they appeared.
Cons:
Everything was cheaply done. I could tell that I was occupying an apartment that had been split in half. I could hear my neighbor having a conversation on the phone at a normal level. The walls were so thin and even the flooring was a problem. My floor would go up and down as my neighbor walked up and down in his apartment. I never experienced anything like this before. I also asked them to do something about the ivy that was growing in the side of the building because it was causing an ant infestation inside my apt. They said they would send someone out but they never did. The building next to mine had someone cut down their ivy but left ours which made the infestation worse.
Advice to owner:
Be more receptive to your tenants concerns.
