Most apts have issues
Former Tenant
Pros:
Nice community garden. Some residents are generally involved. Nice location. Price was nice. Not sure if they do or don’t allow pets, but management is never there to find out. (Several people have pets). Roof access.
Cons:
We didn’t have heat for several weeks. Had to call 311 to finally get heat in our apt bc management was not responsive. There were several other issues with other apts, like a water leak that ran down several floors. The building has a tenant association bc of issues. Trash would often overflow and smell.

Hey, if you like mice and roaches—!
Former Tenant
Pros:
Decent apartment price for size (2 bed for abt 2k) Moved in 1st year of pandemic, management did not raise rent 2nd year 3rd year said they were raising our rent and then never charged us the raised price lol Office is off Troy so you can walk over there ig Park nearby!!!! Pet friendly, no deposit
Cons:
Noise is generally fine, but in the warmer seasons ppl sit out front all night and blast music out their speakers. People smoke in the lobby and stairwell constantly, especially so in the cold months. It will get into your apartment. I had water pouring from my ceiling on more than one occasion. Neighbor's ceiling collapsed from the same leak. Neighbor said it was full of mold. No one ever came to look at ours, whether it was when we reported the leak or after the neighbor's ceiling collapsed. They never fixed my leaking bathroom sink or my toilet. They did one (1) single repair on my kitchen sink and that's it. If you live here you HAVE to have a cat because this place is infested with them. I caught half a dozen mice in 4 months and my roommate killed a total of 14. They chewed all of our cables, destroyed our speakers, and have made a mess of my home. Management did nothing. When I showed a live caught mouse the super he said "oh nooo" and walked away like okay ur not pest control but could you help me with the mouse holes?? There's pest control yeah and they're supposed to show up every month but in my experience they only show up like 2-5 times a year. Complained about roaches early on to management and they sent some random ass guy with a tube of Command and that was it. Literally worthless. Also did not make an appointment or say they were coming. He just showed up and I was "lucky" to be home. Also the roaches are a huge problem. They WILL get into your fridge/freezer, microwave, coffee maker, and toaster. Our apartment has a HORRIBLE draft making the bedroom several degrees (we measured) colder than the rest of the apartment. Terrible in winter. Management didn't care. One year the boiler was out for several days when it was in the 30s-40s outside and they told us all to just suck it up. Last time I had something like this happen management at least provided everyone space heaters. Mailboxes don't lock and packages get stolen Constantly It took them like six months to fix the doorbell so it actually worked Lady at the office is SUPER rude and nasty every time I go in 0/10 I asked the landlord or w/e for a ladder so I could change my lights (i'm short and I know there's like 3 ladders in the basement storage) when they came in to mark what repairs they needed to do (which they did not do btw) and he got real pissy and told me the lights are the tenant's responsibility before leaving, buying lightbulbs, and changing the lights. Brother I did not ask you to buy bulbs or change my lights. I asked for a ladder i'm 5'3" Annoying ass processing fees if you wanna pay rent by credit card
Also I have never received a copy of my lease or any riders from this place and that SUCKS and may be illegal? idk
not the building's problem but the ctown grocer sells expired food and at a markup, so if you move here go to the Ideal on the other side of eastern parkway.
