Not so charming
Former Tenant
Pros:
It’s a good neighborhood/ Quiet Building
Cons:
“Building is not clean” lobby is dirty, elevator is old and dirty(can see dust and roaches keeping you company while in it), No heat(be ready for a lot of cold night), creaky(weak)floors, management is not responsive when tenant complain, sloppy repair from super, package theft(always), buzzer and intercom is not working, back of the building is filled with garbage everywhere, someways somehow a mouse or rat always find is way in your apartment. Etc…
Advice to owner:
Don’t know where to start!!!!!!

Don’t live here
Former Tenant
Pros:
Good light in our apt
Cons:
Insect and rodent infested. No ramps, no laundry, packages get stolen all the time. Landlord rep is rude and yells if you have a complaint. Takes super a long time to fix the front door and other essential maintenance.
Advice to owner:
Take pride in your building and stop being a slumlord.

Horrible Building
Former Tenant
Pros:
Lots of people are pretty nice.
Cons:
1 - Cleanliness ( the floors are not mopped every day. Elevators are not cleaned in the pandemic) 2- Packages are always stolen and the building super does nothing about it) 3- doors are always broken 4- back of building looks like a junkyard. No bins. 5- the front of the building smells like dog pee, is full of dog shit, there is green moss all over the floor. And on the weekend it looks like a slum. 6- no heat and low water pressure 7- no notice about water being turn off or anything in building 8- super is lazy. You call him and he never comes. He is always accusing tenants of things. 9- mario is much more of a super than the actual super 10- apts are not up to code. The wiring had caused fires before. 11- you have to call the management and super a lot to even look at things and then they fix it incorrectly 12- the super give keys go his friends for the access back door and no tenant in building gets a key. 13- when super work on the apts he wants a top before he does it 14- because of seniors in the building, there is no ramp or accessible access for disabled people. 15- rats, tons of roaches, bedbugs infest the building. You need to fumigate the building immediately. The spraying from exterminator is not working.
Advice to owner:
1 - fire the super immediately 2 - distribute keys to the back door 3- fix the wiring 4 - follow NYS guidelines for heat 5- be responsive when your tenants complain
