Not the worst building ever
Former Tenant
Pros:
Price was right (they do a lot of deals)
Roof top is STUNNING
Cons:
Elevator breaks often
“Live In Super” doesn’t live there
Same maintenance people for multiple buildings so takes forever to get things fixed
Advice to owner:
Get a real live in :)

Would not recommend
Former Tenant
Pros:
Lots of natural light in bedrooms.
Cons:
Elevator never works consistently, IMPOSSIBLE to reach landlord and hear back, facilities tickets feel like they take 3 separate visits to actually be fixed. Gym is super small. There is absolutely a bug problem in the building, with management taking little to no action to actually fix.

Decent building, lack of management
Former Tenant
Pros:
Building is quite decent, lovely guy tends to trash and cleaning up the building. Nice rooftop with a great view
Cons:
If you can start a relationship with management, do so. Going through the Dalan management app is futile, it is hard to get into contact with management
Advice to owner:
No complaints

Do not live here
Former Tenant
Pros:
Do not live here, horrible management. Have no common sense. Gave building thief who stole my package my apt number LOL
Cons:
Packages getting stolen ALL THE TIME. I was lucky enough to see who stole my package from the footage management shared with me and it was a TENANT Just picking up any random boxes and took inside their apt. The management then went to go talk to the tenant and management ended up giving away MY apt number so the thief could “apologize” to me. All while I was filing a police report and working with a detective. I had to drop the case for my own safety. It was the worst experience. I had to live in fear not knowing if this person was going to show up to my apt who I obviously did not want to confront.
Advice to owner:
Hire better people your man’s agent t team SUCKS

We Went On A Rent Strike
Former Tenant
Pros:
View, apartments are nice.
Cons:
Dalan Management, we’ve had 100’s of packages stolen and notified them and it wasn’t addressed until we went on a formal rent strike.
Advice to owner:
Sell the building

NOT a Luxury building
Former Tenant
Pros:
Roof Top - until someone who doesn't live here throws a rooftop party and basically trashes it. :/
Cons:
Constant Package theft. The management Company (DALAN MANAGEMENT) does nothing to help you with your concerns or fix problems. There is black mold in apartments that get painted over time and time again. Windows which leak when it rains. People who don't live in the building are always getting in and stealing packages or throwing parties on the roof top. The washers/dyers barely work, I go across the street to properly clean my clothes. Gym equipment is constantly being stolen, the list goes on.
Advice to owner:
I believe the property owner should focus on the cleanliness of his properties as well as safety.

Do Not Rent Here
Former Tenant
Pros:
Newer building, has parking, and close to the J line
Cons:
Management does not respond, large amounts of package theft, maintenance team has friends in the parking lot constantly, parking is frequently blocked, not always cleaned, elevator frequently broken, and there's a lot of partying. Recently they’ve took to not answering questions from tenant and we file police reports monthly. Unit don’t have heat or water at times across the building. A few have sewage issues that management refuses to fix as well. Every month there’s a new problem cropping up such as the windows incorrectly being installed and leaking.

Adding an update as the situation deteriorated further. Numerous times the gym and the rooftop have been unusable. Building has been reported to have mold in common spaces and in tenant’s apartments with a lackluster response from management. Furthermore, package theft was higher than other buildings in the neighborhood and we were told we would receive a more secure option and/or Amazon lockers. But nothing ever came to fruition. This building is a luxury building in price only and management is content on deceiving tenants and potential tenants when issues continue to mount.
Advice to owner:
Fire your building management team and consider pivoting industries.

Don’t even think about living here!!!
Former Tenant
Pros:
Close to train, building amenities.
Cons:
Package theft occurs daily in broad daylight, either having been ripped opened or stolen MINUTES after receiving delivery notifications. If you’re not there to physically receive a delivery, consider it gone.

Half the machines in the laundry room are routinely out of order and poorly maintained. Rooftop and rec room, exclusive to tenants, regularly host loud parties to non-residents. Bike room and package room are combined into one, meaning someone delivering packages can conveniently come back at 4am with full access and steal your bike. I’ve had 2 bicycles stolen at a combined value of $4000.

Piss poor management and zero transparency in communication. Repairs can take months to complete and resident concerns go largely unacknowledged. Elevator routinely goes out of commission, sometimes for a week at a time. Building manager does not reply to phone calls or emails and the super is just as incompetent. When directly confronted, staff will plead ignorance or be dismissive. Don’t be fooled by their willful negligence. Avoid at all costs!!
Advice to owner:
Sell the building and get out of the business. Your reputation for owning/managing is complete trash and I will make it a point to never rent another one of your properties again.

Great but overpriced for the size of units
Former Tenant
Pros:
Great location by many restaurants and trains
Cons:
Packages get stolen a lot
Elevator breaks often
Managment isn’t responsive
Advice to owner:
Treat tenants better with better, updated amenities, add new cameras to catch the burglars better, clean the roof more often
