Ventilation
Former Tenant
Pros:
Very decent building and close to commute.
Cons:
Heat in the building does not work in the rooms at apartment 2L. This forces tenants/roomies to turn up the heat or cold air for it to run all the time, and then we struggle to live in the room that has the attitude that works. We were burning up during the winter and freezing in our rooms during the summer, especially at night. I interacted with the technicians that came by at times to check the air, and they said they have to take out the entire present system and do it all over, which the landlord did not want to do at the time we were there so that all rooms could get air directly into their rooms. They would often tell us to open our doors for the air to circulate, which doesn't do much
The third-party agents that deal with rental seem nice but are slow to fix stuff. I met the owner once and he is one rude man when we complained about these thing he told us”We can move if we are not comfortable which we did and they refuse and never reply to our request for our deposit.”.
Advice to owner:
Give value to people money and good service when you renting these rooms.
