Pretty on the outside
Former Tenant
Pros:
Very spacious, beautiful apartment with high ceilings, hardwood, and a huge amount of outdoor space. Visually, this apartment is a stunner.

Great location. Neighborhood is mostly quiet and residential but close walking distance to tons of bars, restaurants, nightlife.
Cons:
Consistent roof leaks in front room, above the refrigerator, and especially in the upstairs bathroom. Front room and kitchen leaks didn’t bother us much, but having a soaking wet bathroom floor with chunks of fallen plaster every time it rains gets tiring.

Landlord company is obnoxious to deal with. It’s a company seemingly run by at least 2-3 different people and while one of the women is nice enough and a little more responsive the others are rude and intemperate. Their response time is usually unreasonably long. If you have an emergency you better call them incessantly and then forget it if it’s a weekend. They’ll respond on Tuesday. On a Friday night our lock broke and we got stuck in our apartment. Notified the landlord, they didn’t get back to us until late the following Monday. They proceeded to get angry with us for calling a locksmith, apparently maintaining we should’ve waited stuck in our apartment for 72 hours or more until they could’ve sent their own locksmith. A few months later, the same thing happened to our downstairs neighbors.

On the converse side, when they do send repair people they don’t give us any notice. On a few occasions we were woken up early in the morning to workmen persistently ringing our door.

First floor neighbors blast late night dance music pretty constantly. Often on weeknights and after 4am. But conversely we’ve also been able to have people over or play loud music and have never gotten a noise complaint.

Hallways frequently smell like cigarettes.

No dishwasher.
Advice to owner:
Better response time and communication. Invest in real structural repairs rather than bandaid surface level fixes.

Lived during 2019 pandemic
Former Tenant
Pros:
Building was up kept, trash was under control, appliances were nice
Cons:
Loud downstairs neighbors would throw parties with 30-50 people on weeknights, management tried to charge me for water damage on wood floors that was already there before I moved in
Advice to owner:
Stop trying to con people out of money
