Not Bad, But I Want It To Be Great
Former Tenant
Pros:
The building is newer, which is a plus. There are only 4 floors, so the walk-up situation isn't bad. To my knowledge, most if not all units have balconies. Same situation for amenities like dishwashers and laundry. Only a 2-3 minute walk from the train station.
Cons:
Whoever built this building seemed to do a bit of a rush job on some parts. For example, there is chaulk residue in the bathrooms as if they were haste finishing it. The washer-dryer is one of those European ones where it's one machine, so a single wash/dry cycle takes 5-8 hours. There was an alarming amount of dead bugs at the entrance this summer. (TBH there are bugs in general.) Oh, the entrance is also where they leave mail since there is no mail room, which is just dandy. At least there's a mailbox to drop your rent payments because they only accept cheques like its the 90s.
Advice to owner:
Put "1075" or "1079" clearly somewhere so mail delivery personal know where to drop off packages.
