Amazing neighbors who banded together in the misery that was this slumhouse
Cons:
High gloss nicotine yellow walls, always infested with rats and roaches that the slumlord didn't care to fix. It smelled HORRIBLE. ALL THE TIME. Super noisy, no fire escape on the 2nd floor and the landlord refused to put one in. I never got security deposit back bc of the one time April 2022 (peal covid and I had lost all 3 of my jobs) I paid my rent 5 days late instead of the usual week early. It was peak covid and they didn't offer any discount or the option to pay late and were hounding me every day about rent. I sold a bunch of my belongings just to make rent so they would stop harassing me.
I lived there for 7 years and had to literally beg them to come repaint the walls like they are supposed to do ACCORDING TO RENTER LAW & instead painted them myself. For the best as the last time they painted before I moved in they got pube (I hope beard) hairs stuck all over the walla and painted the windows shut. Idiots.
Advice to owner:
Fix your problems, roaches are a health hazard, be kind to the people who rent from you even if they aren't Jewish
