Frustrating Building Management
Former Tenant
Pros:
Super close to train station and grocery store. No trouble with neighbors. Decent rooftop and backyard, though it's hard to access if you don't live on the ground floor.
Cons:
No natural light in the living room. Water pressure was not good. Kitchen sink is cube-shaped, which makes it really annoying to clean. Sink faucet never worked properly, and it was never fixed. Laundry was super expensive, like $7 a load. Soundproofing was not great either. We'd usually wait several weeks for our issues to be addressed, which included mold issues, faulty shower door, broken fans, broken fridge. The building's fire system panel frequently had some kind of alert, and it would make a terrible beeping sound. One time the heaters didn't work for a couple weeks in the middle of the winter. They tried to keep a significant amount of our security deposit, more than what was fair.
Advice to owner:
Take better care of building systems.

Former Tenant
Pros:
Very modern, new appliances, somewhat spacious, very close to train, gym, and grocery store.
Cons:
0 natural lighting, landlord spotty to respond. Maybe this is just my experience but could hear neighbors playing music at all times. No windows outside of the bedrooms. Laundry is in building but is $15 to do a full 2 loads
Advice to owner:
Bring the coast of laundry down

Small but clean
Former Tenant
Pros:
The garbage is always taken care of and people come and clean the building often.
Everything is renovated so everything feels new and clean.
You control your own heat.
Cons:
The water pressure is really low and it makes it hard to shower sometimes.
Apartments themselves are very small, makes it difficult to have two rooms and such little space.
Property owner does not always listen to complaints but for the most part tries.
Advice to owner:
The water pressure needs to be fixed.
