Non-Responsive Management who doesn’t care about tenants

Pros:
Spacious apartment and good location
Cons:
For the one month we have lived in this building we have had a roach infestation since day 1. We have brought up this issue to management and the super and we rarely hear back from them. They only sent an exterminator once to our apartment thinking it would solve the issue. We are very clean tenants and the roach infestation has not gotten any better. We wanted to come clean and inspect the apartment one day before moving in but the management told us we were not allowed to unless we wanted to pay another months worth of rent. Since living here for only a month we have had no hot water in two weeks and we have brought it up to the management’s attention for them to say “this issue is out of management’s control”. We have also had a leak in our bathroom ceiling causing the ceiling to tear apart and management doesn’t even care to help us. We also were given no key to our mailbox after asking several times for a key. The management does not care to do their job and simply ignores the maintenance requests of tenants when it’s an emergency.
