Safe building in decent location
Former Tenant
Pros:
Management is responsive. Trash always taken out on time. Roof access is great. Train access is great too. Across the street from a school, so feels safe.
Cons:
Can be pretty noisy at night. Took management a long time to fix an issue with the front door.
Advice to owner:
Be more proactive about communicating office closures.

Ok building, not great area
Former Tenant
Pros:
Management is fairly responsive so issues are addressed relatively quickly. High ceilings. Neighbors on the block are friendly.
Cons:
Some gunshots a block away over the summer. Overall a loud neighborhood – sirens, motorcycles, people yelling on the street, cars with no mufflers. This building is right across the street from an elementary school playground where kids scream all day during the school year. Not an issue if your room faces the inside of the block, but constant noise if your room faces the street.
Lots of leaks in the building when it rains. Never fully resolved. One apt in the building had a huge flood after a rainstorm. Management responded pretty quickly but it shouldn’t have happened in the first place.
