Pushed out of building while demanding repairs
Former Tenant
Pros:
Backyard with my furniture still in it
Cons:
This building has black mold in the walls due to heavy leaking from patio in unit 1 and bay window in unit 2. There are mice which have been reported to HPD and nothing was done. The mice led to fleas being in unit 2 and potentially unit 1. There were bed bugs in unit 1 and it was never reported to the city. Check the violations page on the housing department website. This is all true. Building manager Isaac Rosenberg led us into fraudulently believing our lease would be renewed only to deny us a new lease when we began demanding the leaks and mold be fixed. The black mold in the front bedroom of unit 2 was painted over and never properly fixed. I don't know what was done after we left unit 1 due to conditions that landlord refused to fix. Probably same. Then rent was increased by $500 when it was put back on the market as of a few days ago. Do not rent here.
Advice to owner:
Follow tenant right protection laws. Corruption and greed will ruin you.

Cheap but not worth it
Former Tenant
Pros:
It’s cheap, cheap, and cheap. But not worth it
Cons:
It’s dirty, it’s breaking down, people move in and out constantly, mouse issue, VERY LOUD, and the landlord is sexiest
Advice to owner:
You were the worst landlord I ever had
