Terrible Apartment with Worse Landlords

Pros:
The roof has a nice view.
Cons:
The management company is horrible. Unresponsive, unhelpful, and now that we have moved out, withholding our security deposit despite having no legal grounds to do so. Their communication is confusing, convoluted, and they do not get anything done. They failed to mention that the unit was completely unfinished. When we moved in in January, there was no hot water, exposed wiring in the showers, nails sticking through the walls, paint splatter everywhere (that later stayed permanent), and it took 2 weeks for them to fix everything. This is illegal and immoral. They do not care about you, your safety, your wellbeing. Unless you threaten legal action or the matter has to due with you paying them, they are unresponsive and unhelpful. They should be ashamed.
Advice to owner:
Quit. Start a new line of work. I couldn't recommend this company less. They are a shame to landlords everywhere. They put my roommates and I in dangerous and hazardous living conditions and illegally withheld our own money from us. Quit your jobs.
