1 yr. bedbug disclosure form
Former Tenant
Pros:
I never signed this lease, this is simply about the lease signing process!
Cons:
When I was given the lease, the lease was missing many pages about window safety, fire safety, and most importantly, the one year bedbug disclosure form. The building has not filed a bedbug history report since 2020 (or maybe before) as is shown on the HPD website. When I asked for the bedbug history the broker said he had never heard of the form or seen these HPD violations on the building, and the owner refused to file a report with the HPD saying that it would "take too long". He never shared a bedbug history report with me, only saying over the phone that other tenants had "never complained" or told him about bedbug issues. While I don't think the building has bedbugs, I find it very strange that the owner refused to share a bedbug history with me, and tried to tell me I didn't know what I was talking about when I brought up NYC tenant rights and the 1 year bedbug disclosure form. Also, heat and hot water are not included in rent which was not mentioned until seeing the lease. On top of overpriced rent for a building with zero amenities, it's just not worth it!

BE CAREFUL OF SCAMMERS
Former Tenant
Pros:
Great area and nice building
Cons:
THE OWNERS ARE SCAMMERS. Be very careful about signing a lease here. We were kicked out after moving in because the owner disagreed with the property manager on the amount they had leased it out to us on.
Advice to owner:
Give us back our money
