Very Terrible management
Former Tenant
Pros:
Location is ok
Cons:
Terrible and unresponsive management. You have better luck winning the lottery than getting in contact with somebody willing to help
Advice to owner:
Get new management

Thank you, next.
Former Tenant
Pros:
Bedroom large enough for a king side bed, several dressers, and a desk.

Kitchen has a lot of cabinetry. Fridge is basic but never had any issues (no ice maker or filtered water).

Small washer + dryer in unit.

Unofficial rooftop served for some nice gatherings.

Some nice neighbors, some neighbors getting arrested every now and then.

Entertainment room and lower level courtyard was great but now seemingly restricted to tenants only. Confusing.

Short walk to the Q train but the Parkside Ave stop was under construction on the weekends and the B conveniently skips it.
Cons:
Management group is non-responsive / absent.

Live-in super is nice but overwhelmed. Sometimes responsive, sometimes not.

Mailboxes / unit numbers never fully sorted out - I never properly received mail at this building.

Elevators could use some autonomy bringing the front elevator to L vs. to the 2nd floor.

Building isn't properly insulated — in the winter, it was colder inside of my apartment than it was outside.

Ceiling leak lasted 1 month before initially being fixed. The 2nd leak started up again and lasted 3 months before being fixed. This served as grounds for us breaking our lease.

Packages constantly stolen from the unsupervised package room — stolen by break-ins as well as stolen by other tenants.

Way-finding signage in the building is still in the print-out-construction phase.

Shared-common areas are now restricted to tenants only and no guests — communication about this never went out.

Move out plan was confirmed and then an attempted change was made at the last possible minute which felt spiteful.
Advice to owner:
Responsiveness is key. You own a building with some pretty steep rental fees — it would best if you pretended to know that.

Nice but expensive
Former Tenant
Pros:
The gym, common areas, and roof are well maintained and useful.
Cons:
They changed the address of the building and apartment/floor numbers after we lived there for months. It was very strange.

Extremely overpriced.
Advice to owner:
Communication around changes weren’t always handled well.

Terrible management company and building
Former Tenant
Pros:
None as it's overpriced
Dog room is nice.
Super is at least trying but can only do so much when building is shit
Cons:
Avoid management as they don't response ever
Cheap building material
Bad neighborhood, next to project building. Search 60 Clarkson in the news.
Elevator constantly broken
People move in and out whenever
No security as homeless kids come in and smoke in the building
In summer, no air-condition any more so it's like 90 degree in hallway
Advice to owner:
Be nice to people who pay
