Calm one bedroom
Former Tenant
Pros:
I lived here for 4+ years on the east (courtyard) facing side of the building. You aren’t able to hear the street from the apartment at all and in the summer it’s nice to be able to see all the green in the backyards. The landlord was very responsive and helpful.
Cons:
Someone hung a windchime in their backyard in the courtyard and it drove me crazy. I had to start using earplugs to sleep. Bars on all windows so it can be dark. No laundry in my unit although I know other units did have laundry. The liquor store directly under the building attracts some characters. Moving in and out was a hustle because the stairways are very narrow.
Advice to owner:
Install laundry for all units in the basement as the closest laundromat is 6 blocks away.
