Beware of 159 Halsey Street
Former Tenant
Pros:
None. Zero. Not one.
Cons:
NO HEAT. It can be -200 degrees outside The heat almost never gets turned on. Its nearly impossible to take showers in the winter due to the extreme cold in the apartments.
Does not respond to calls of any sorts fixes unless you file a 311 complaint
If you owe rent they stick rent ledger under your door consistently and consistently raise rent . But provide no apartment fixes or upgrades.
Roaches throughout building and mice. Pest control does not come out regularly for maintenance. Maybe once or twice a year when the complaints add up.
