Not worth the time or money
Former Tenant
Pros:
Nice location and some working new appliances, given you're willing to sort out the startup service headache
Cons:
Spent half the lease without gas. There were rat problems with the property. Water damage to my personal property. Whole building was poorly renovated and leaks through all apartments. At this location and many others of the management company the owners are content literally painting over leaks and mold instead of addressing the issue. Setting up electric and gas and internet was the largest headache as the building was not meant to house 7 units. This is all beyond the fact that the units are extremely small with no building amenities. Washer/Dryers shake the whole building and you will hear any of the units using it. Absolutely no privacy with paper thin walls. There is absolutely no system for packages and the building is strewn with unclaimed mail, plenty of which is from the city department of hearings trying to get in touch with the owner, they likely will ignore them just as much as you. Take this off your consideration.
Advice to owner:
Use the immense profit you are making to actually make the space livable
