Decent apartment but annoying management
Former Tenant
Pros:
The building is pretty nice and isn't huge so you don't have to deal with a ton of neighbors. There's a nice (but small) gym on the roof and a large laundry room in the basement (especially considering the building is only 20 units). Water pressure is really strong and hot water is included in the rent which is nice.
Cons:
The appliances (especially the stove/oven and dishwasher) are a weird off brand and don't work as well as other more reputable brands. Some maintenance requests took several follow-ups to get addressed. The construction quality of the building seems to be subpar (a lot of the door handles are crooked, there was an awful draft in the balcony door and crazy street noise even through the otherwise new windows). Management tries to nickel and dime for everything and will implement random restrictions with little notice. The main contact at management is quite difficult to work with (sometimes due to the language barrier).
