Landlord harassment, cockroaches
Former Tenant
Pros:
Nice neighborhood, that’s it
Cons:
Landlord harassment during last month of lease in the form of repetitive calls, emails, and texts daily to set up showing appointments but then threatening that he would turn up at any time he wished anyway. Not respecting tenant boundaries. Landlord not fixing apartment issues promptly: plumbing issues would take days but toilet would break after “fixing” anyways, massive hole in ceiling took over a week to fix after I asked multiple times. Random construction in the hallway without giving notice. On the first day of lease, I was asked to go to a coffee shop an hour away by subway from the apartment to collect my keys in an envelope from a cashier by saying my name (very concerning).
