Good building and location, not responsible landlord
Former Tenant
Pros:
Heat is great, pretty quiet, very pets friendly, weekly cleaning community areas
Cons:
Garbage and cleaning outside of the building, stealing packages and plants from the porch, smoking neighbors inside of the building, landlord constantly was getting letters about not paying gaz and electricity. It was hard to get someone to fix things in apartment. I fixes all the floor myself, painted walls as well. I paid for it out of my pocket. After one year lease my rent got increased on almost 30%. Which was an insane increase. On my question why - management answered - “the market is hot now”. 🤷🏻‍♀️So, I couldn’t afford it anymore. I negotiated rent, but it still was to high for me, so I had to break a lease.
Advice to owner:
Take care of the bills on time!

Had bedbugs, come to find out - building is infested
Former Tenant
Pros:
Loved in unit laundry
Cons:
I had bedbugs and management would not treat it promptly. I called a bedbug specialist I know personally who helped me through this. I lived here in 2021, so I see by the other reviews that the bed bugs did not go away or really treated.

They gave me my deposit back but did not ever reimburse me for my treatment of bedbugs. Sam (Landlord) ended up blocking my number after leaving so many voicemails for payment.
Advice to owner:
TREAT YOUR WHOLE BUILDING FOR BED BUGS

One month in
Former Tenant
Pros:
Management is responsive and friendly. The location is great and the building is quiet. Management handles all repairs and rent payments are made online.
Cons:
Lots of things were not functional when I arrived (hot water, refrigerator, dryer). The repairmen that management hired were not reliable and did not arrive when scheduled.

Meh
Former Tenant
Pros:
In unit laundry,
Cons:
Pest issues (mice and roaches and bed bugs), poor heating system, very old building with little upgrades, not cleaned upon move-in date, hard to get ahold of management, minimal amount of electric outlets,

Non-responsive management company
Former Tenant
Pros:
Decent location for price
Cons:
Management is completely irresponsive. It took weeks for a massive hole opened by a leak to be repaired in my bathroom ceiling. Since I've moved out, I've attempted to get my deposit back but nobody is responsive. It also took two weeks for my gas to be turned on because management would be on holiday for weeks at a time.
Advice to owner:
Please treat your tenants better.
