Essentially a dorm, but great for roommates!
Former Tenant
Pros:
The unit was recently renovated which means it appears new and looks very nice. The backyard is a nice space and great for hosting along with the large and bright living room. The bedrooms are large and all easily fit full beds and desks. There’s exposed brick and lots of kitchen storage.
Cons:
The trash management for the building is bad and lots of students live in the building, meaning the trash builds up and is not disposed of well. Theres always a stench, flies and roaches around the trash area to enter the building. There’s been a lot of rats by the entrance and in the yard which makes it hard to use during the summer months. The laundry room is a nice addition but is poorly taken care of by tenants and management so the smell is rough. The bathrooms are large but poorly renovated so mold and humidity permeate. The upgrades are aesthetically pleasing but it’s clear it was rushed so the floors are bending and the cabinets are already peeling. The bedrooms downstairs have no windows making for a depressing living situation for the roommates who get stuck down there. The upstairs bedrooms have windows but bad closet/storage options.
Advice to owner:
The entrance to the first unit needs to be furnished so there’s separation between the unit and the trash area.
