Moved in very recently, but already having major difficulties with this landlord

Pros:
Neighborhood, block, townhouse, high ceilings, big windows, outdoor deck
Cons:
Landlord is a con artist and disrespectful to his tenants. He has been lying about the existing scaffolding and when he plans to take it down (which is never). He has zero interest in keeping his tenants safe or happy.
Advice to owner:
Don't become a landlord if you don't have respect for peoples lives, and are too lazy to manage properties properly.
