Cute Building, Horrible Landlord
Former Tenant
Pros:
Affordable rent, historical building, the renovated units are chic.
Cons:
The management is offensively unresponsive and calloused. Consider this building effectively unmanaged. Heat unlikely to ever come on on time, etc.
Advice to owner:
Care about your tenants. Stop looking at us as strictly cash cows to be milked. Inhumane treatment and disregard.

If you enjoy calling 311 every day then this is the place for you!
Former Tenant
Pros:
(Most ) neighbors are lovely and consistently communicate about building issues/property management issues. Everyone is on board will constantly reporting the landlords and management to 311. Most of the apartments are newly renovated and have tons of built-in storage. The location is AMAZING.
Cons:
So many! Where to start. First off, good luck getting any maintenance or repairs done. The property manager won’t respond and the landlords are completely MIA. The building doesn’t have a super either. The buildings front door consistently breaks which means you can be completely locked out at any time. Good luck getting packages delivered because the intercom is always down. If they do get delivered, prepare for them to be stolen because when the door DOES open, it doesn’t close behind you leaving complete access to package thieves. To help with package theft, there is an Amazon locker in the building lobby BUT it has never worked for anyone…not once. There is laundry in the building but have fun sharing one washer and one dryer with all the other tenants because one dryer is broken (management won’t fix it) and the other washer is filled with sewage water (management won’t fix it). Sometimes you get an extra little fun surprise when the water from the machine backwashes and the floor is covered in nasty sewage. If you’re lucky, you’ll get a great neighbor living next to you but if you’re not, I hope you’re a smoker because your whole apartment might smell like cigarettes and you’ll be able to feel the bass from the music blasting in the apartment below you. If you need any repairs done, too bad! You better be handy enough to fix it yourself because no one else will, despite you calling and texting 3 separate property managers constantly. If you’re just moving in, you can be rest assured no one has painted, cleaned or patched up the apartment prior to your arrival so when you sign that lease you really are accepting the place “as is”. And if you renew your lease, have fun paying a 20% increase on your rent every. single. year. you want to live there.
