Overpriced, landlord sucks
Former Tenant
Pros:
The hallway is kept clean, and the space itself is very bright. Its a good size for a true 1 bedroom.
Cons:
It is so overpriced for this location and quality of the apartment. The countertops look like marble but start to peel if they get wet. The doors feel flimsy and are made of corkboard. No central AC and the landlord won't let you install a window AC unit even in +90° NY summers. The landlord is unreasonable and a jerk. There's also ALL of the homeless junkies immediately outside the front door. Not worth the money for all the cons, especially with a full month's broker fee! The landlord has been taking advantage and price gouging the rent too, look at the price increase over time and know that no improvements were made to justify it.
Advice to owner:
Update the apartment if you're going to price gouge. Add things like Central AC or dishwashers. And don't be a dick and bully your tenants by yelling at them.
