Shitty landlord (Angela)

Pros:
Location in a quiet neighborhood
Cons:
Landlord only cares about money. I lived in this building for 5 years and complained about the broken window leaking heat in the winter all the time. They never fixed it. They never inspected the apartment before I moved out even though I asked them to many times and the landlord ending up taking $400 from my deposit. The apartment was in perfect condition.
There was a rat issue at some point and the landlord blamed me even though a few of the apartments had the same issue.
I had a broken fridge for over 2-3 months and had to video record the water dripping inside the fridge for them to replace it.
All they want is to take your money so they can go to Greece every summer. They’re unappreciative of good tenants and do not care about anything relating to a human relationship.
Advice to owner:
Try to be more humane and maintain your building! $2800 a month rent is plenty of money to maintain the place.

Landlords just want money

Pros:
The apartment itself is a gem and painted.
Cons:
We lived there for a few years and complained about the windows being bowed and letting in the cold air in the winter. They didn’t do anything. They weren’t very responsive when it comes to maintenance or cleanliness of the building.
Advice to owner:
Listen to your tenants and put yourself in their shoes.
