So much potential
Former Tenant
Pros:
Location was great, Fort Greene is an amazing place to live. Everyone on that block is incredibly friendly
Cons:
No heat in the building which is illegal. Terrible cockroach infestation that nobody will fix. Building is under foreclosure, so don’t expect anyone to fix or attend to anything

Affordable but not well maintained.
Former Tenant
Pros:
One of the few affordable places to live in Fort Greene, Brooklyn. I lived in the basement studio for 5 years (people should not really live in basements for that long). I eventually left because I developed allergies to dust and mold plus there were rats outside the door. The 1-bedroom apartments above are decent and under $2k/month which is rare but just don’t expect too much from the management company because the owner of the building doesn’t want to pay for anything, so this is a good place if you don’t mind fixing things yourself. Amazing neighborhood, I miss it so much.
Cons:
Not well maintained, rats in the basement, they don’t provide heating so its on you.
Advice to owner:
Clean up the basement area and tell the super to actually fix things and provide heating!
