Nice place, bad management

Pros:
Newer appliances, good location
Cons:
Landlord does not help fix problems, mold, unresolved maintenance issues, maintenance taking forever to get done, hot water runs out after one shower, small rooms, no laundry, bugs, very thin walls, crazy loud street with almost constant honking
Advice to owner:
Be more responsive and helpful versus money hungry

Places are cute but it is NOT worth it

Pros:
Nice natural light. Central AC.
Cons:
NO INTERNET. Spectrum doesn't work at all here and there are no other ISP's in the area. BAD HOT WATER. Hot water heater works for about 15 minutes at a time in the bathroom and always in the kitchen. Don't know why. Terrible property management owned by a religious cult. (Seriously. Your bldg manager might be married to a 16 year-old which shouldn't sit well with you.) The sink constantly breaks and was broken when we moved in. Smoke/carbon monoxide detectors took over a month to have the super install (which is illegal btw). If you have any problems with the place? Good luck fixing it yourself. Need a rent reduction in a global pandemic? YOU WON'T GET IT FROM THESE MEN OF GOD.
Advice to owner:
You guys are unresponsive and very sexist. If you're male-identifying, you'll probably have better luck negotiating with these people. But maybe not.
