Great price for the neighborhood, but the highway noise is significant
Former Tenant
Pros:
Good appliances, great countertops and finishes, great shower, well kept up, responsive super and landlord. The landlord really does want to make a good apartment building environment.
Cons:
The freeway is very loud. You'll need a white noise machine and if the windows are open, earplugs. Big trucks shake the building when they go by. In winter, the pipes make the unit very hot and you can't control it. There's sometimes roaches, but you just have to be clean and put out traps.
Advice to owner:
Figure out the correct heating temp or insulate the pipes. Some apartments have too many and can't regulate them. The windows allow so much sound bleed. Replacing them would help with traffic noise a whole lot.
