Well run building in busy area
Former Tenant
Pros:
The apartments are big, large living rooms. I rarely heard neighbors through the walls. Huge windows let in a lot of light. Great building staff. Any maintenance concerns are addressed super quickly.
Cons:
There are no closets because it’s a converted warehouse. So you’ll need to buy wardrobes. Like not even a broom closet. You can make it work but you have to plan well. Some residents are big partiers and a few times noise from the roof deck could be heard in my apartment.

Great building, awesome location
Former Tenant
Pros:
Beautiful rooftop
Awesome staff
Amazing location
Cons:
If you’re on the top floor, you’ll hear every footstep of the people on the roof

Former Tenant
Pros:
Amazing staff
High ceiling, huge windows
Incredible roof
Cons:
Had a mouse problem, but it was resolved by the staff
Roof often hosts parties, which can get very loud

Broken AC, pests, water damage and leaks
Former Tenant
Pros:
I really like the people who work at the front desk and the maintenance people. Location is good too.
Cons:
A lot of mice in apartment; had a bad ant infestation; a/c has been broken for months and consistent failure to remedy issue (90+ degrees in my apartment during summer months); severe water damage and leaks in apartment and consistent failure to remedy issue; mold in a/c units and consistent failure to remedy issue
Advice to owner:
Get new management

Great apartment in the heart of Williamsburg
Former Tenant
Pros:
The location, it is near the L station and is very easy and faster to get to Manhattan and to the rest of Brooklyn. Tall ceilings, big for NYC standards, washer and dryer in the unit. The staff is friendly and very helpful. Overall I love living here.
Cons:
Is on the expensive side.

Great place, a lil pricey but that’s wburg
Former Tenant
Pros:
Fantastic building staff. Our super, doormen, porter and handyman are the best!
Love the open space and high ceilings
Good storage in the lofts
Good blinds that blackout in bedroom
Super convenient location
Nice roof deck, elevators and lobby
Cons:
Rents a bit high but you’re paying for the location and great staff
Most of the windows leak pretty bad during rain storms, management is on top of it trying to do the best they can. But it’s clearly a design issue that can’t be fixed (years of bad leaks with sometimes gallon per rainstorm).
Might want to avoid top floors but I’m only guessing (more leaks, ac issues, rooftop noise).
Cabinets are super cheap and wearing (particle board). They’re gonna have to replace all of them in a year or two IMO
Kitchen Lighting isn’t great, needs more lights in the kitchen… can’t see what I’m chopping half the time.
Wburg is pretty bland these days, not very diverse or edgy anymore
Advice to owner:
Keep your awesome staff, and pay them well!
Don’t put in particle board cabinets when you remodel - it’ll save you in the long run!
Fix the leaks or don’t raise our rent for tolerating them.

Prime location in Williamsburg
Former Tenant
Pros:
Less than 5min walk to Trader Joes/Whole Foods or other grocery stores. All the Williamsburg restaurants are steps away. Great access to Domino Park, McCarren Park and the waterfront. Management is responsive to issues
Cons:
Street facing units can be loud as there is a loading zone in front of the building. There's no gym or other amenities aside from a small common area and a furnished rooftop. Window AC units and no closets are a bit of a letdown.

OVERPRICED NO CLOSETS?!?!!
Former Tenant
Pros:
LOCATION IS CONVENIENT
Cons:
RENTAL PRICES ARE INSANE CONSIDERING THERE ARE NO CLOSETS AND NO AMENITIES IN THE BUILDING ALSO WINDOW UNIT A/C IN A NEWLY RENOVATED “Luxury” IS NOT OK
Advice to owner:
IF YOU HAD CLOSETS, CENTRAL A/C AND A GYM MAYBE THE PRICE WOULDNT FEEL LIKE INJURY TO INSULT. THE BUILDING NEEDS WORK
