The bell tolls for thee
Former Tenant
Pros:
Great location, sunny windows.
Cons:
The landlord is a huge piece of work. Greedy to the core. Has stolen security deposits in the past and will probably do it to you.

Amazing building if you don't care about cleanness
Former Tenant
Pros:
The building structure is beautiful, and the apartments are unique. It is an old building that has kept all of its charm
Cons:
The landlord will never pay, replace, or fix anything in the apartment. Don't expect anything from him, unless you pay for it. The building has never been cleaned probably, and mice is pretty common, although we got it under control with mouse traps.
Advice to owner:
Clean up your building, and maintain it better. It could be a much better apt, and you could charge so much more

Make sure you get deposit back if you rent at all
Former Tenant
Pros:
Old charming apartment
Cons:
Landlord had made a 2 bedroom apartment an illegal 3 bedroom to make more money. We removed false sectioning off of 3rd curtain close bedroom in agreement with landlord who did not give deposit back because “he could not rent out as 3 bedroom when we moved out.
Advice to owner:
Do not lie to the people who rent your apartments- it’s illegal and you rip them off.
