Great building with some rent stabilized units, not many complaints
Former Tenant
Pros:
Very good and communicative management, has a great ticketing system for requesting repairs and support. Offers pest control services each month. Relatively quiet building (you do live by a fire station though) with nice neighbors. Packages used to get stolen but this has improved a lot in the past 2 years. Enjoyed living here!
Cons:
Poor water pressure and showers constantly turning freezing or boiling with little control.

Location is great! Building is old & needs some love!
Former Tenant
Pros:
•100+ Year Old Building with lots of charm. •Great Location on the Southside of Williamsburg. •Rooftop Access via the adjacent building with stunning views of NYC. •Fantastic & Responsive Building Superintendent. •Exposed Brick Walls in some apartments. •Building is next door to a Firehouse. •3 blocks to beautiful Domino Park. •15 minute walk to McCarren Park. •10 minute walk to Bedford Ave L-Train Subway Stop. •11 minute walk to Marcy Ave J+M+Z-Train Subway Stop. •1 minute walk to B62 Bus Stop at either Bedford Ave or Driggs Ave. •Delicious restaurants in the area. •Visit the cool shops and vintage wonderlands. •Easy access to the Williamsburg Bridge Walking Path & Bike Path. •NYC Water Ferry Access is available on the Southside and Northside.
Cons:
•Late Night/Loud Conversations on the Front Stoop Steps •People from other buildings in the area smoking on the Stoop Steps and talking very loudly. •The Stoop Steps and Front Entrance Area need to be painted and are due for a deep cleaning. It is very dirty and dusty. •There are no buzzers outside the front doors to let people in to the building. •There is no lock for the inside Double Door once you enter the building’s main door. •No Roof Access from this building, but you can enter the adjacent building through the alleyway since the buildings are connected and gain rooftop access that way. Access to gorgeous views of NYC. •There is no safe place for packages to be delivered & stores. •If you need something replaced, like a fridge or stove - management replaces it with something old, used, & not properly refurbished or brand new. •Building has a roach problem, especially during the summer. •No Washer/Dryer in Building. •The heating radiators clank loudly in the middle of the night. Some of the heating pipes probably need to be inspected & replaced. A lot of the pipes are old, rusted, & leaking.
Advice to owner:
Put a “no smoking” and “no loitering” sign up in front of the building.
