Super is not responsive at all

Good location, near williamsburg proper.
Cons:
If you ever need anything, don’t bother with the super. He’ll take months to respond.

Dirty and infested building

Quiet older neighbors, sunlight
Cons:
Roaches throughout the building (inside and outside of apartments), rats and roaches in laundry room, consistent sewage smell in basement and laundry area, faulty elevator, cheap windows that barely keep out the cold and moisture, building cleanliness not well maintained (constantly litter throughout building), tenants smoke in common areas and landlords do not care, heaters come on sparingly because landlords want to save money, loud and inconsiderate people in the immediate neighborhood (loud music at all hours), have witnessed multiple crimes in the immediate neighborhood including a car break-in and a lethal shooting in 2018 just outside the building.
Advice to owner:
You can’t give advice to senseless people with no dignity or morality.

Some rent controlled apartments

Cons:
People smoking in hallways, neighbors incredibly loud, hallways and lobby smell and are filthy

Not great building in a great neighborhood

Pros:
Affordable and rent-stabilized building. All of the tenants are very nice and I enjoy the community I'm around.
Cons:
Management isn't great and neither is the Super very helpful. Random water outages all the time and inconsistent heating. There's also rats that they haven't exterminated in the building.
Advice to owner:
Please get better management for such a good community
