best location in williamsburg

Pros:
loved it’s access to amazing restaurants and bars. the building is beautiful and well maintained and the live in super is a really nice guy!
Cons:
There are cockroaches is common areas like hallways even with pest control, but it’s an old building so understandable.

We did see a couple of mice but the live in super is on top of all issues

Beautiful building…. COCKROACHES

The building is full of wonderful people and seems to have been recently renovated. The apartments are charming with characteristics of exposed beams and pretty sound proof walls. The neighbors are really nice.
Cons:
Cockroaches. It wasn’t initially a problem. We keep a tidy apartment, however, a few months in, we started seeing small cockroaches. Contacted landlord and superintendent about the problem, and they said they would contact an exterminator. They never got back to us and no exterminator arrived. And it’s getting worse! They scurry all over the place! We thought it was just maybe us, but then we talked to some if our neighbors and they are dealing with them too. The icing on the cake was one night while entering the building, a MASSIVE roach jumped down from the ceiling and landed on my roommate’s head. HUGE BUG. Lived in this city for a while and haven’t had issues as bad as this.

UPDATE: EVEN BIGGER COCKROACHES
Advice to owner:
Fumigate the building…
