a hellhole that’s close to the j train
Former Tenant
Pros:
convenient location, nice kitchen, and the maintenance guy is very kind. cheap for the location but it’s not worth it.
Cons:
it’s cramped, there’s rats everywhere, and management could not care less. there was a thick, musty, dead animal carcass smell when we first moved in and our ceiling flooded twice in a span of a few months. it’s because the management only use short term solutions for issues that need concrete solutions. look i could go on and on about how unresponsive and neglectful the property owners are but this is exactly the kind of place to avoid. packages get stolen frequently. the neighbors throw food down in the courtyard constantly and attract more rats. a cycle of hell. it’s exactly why people think landlords don’t deserve rights. i mean, unless you wanna takeover my lease, then this place is paradise.
Advice to owner:
plug up all the holes and clean up the courtyard and maybe the rats won’t get in the walls.
