Pest filled building
Former Tenant
Pros:
Great location, spacious units, management responds pretty quickly but they don't do enough to fix issues
Cons:
fridge kept breaking spoiling all groceries and building did not pay, mice and roaches constantly in entrance/stairwell, apartment was infested with mice for months with no proper remediation from building, unit continued to have roaches, centipedes, beetles, etc throughout time there
Advice to owner:
Properly seal the building to keep out pests and have super kill/remove bugs/mice in a timely way from entrance

Totally ordinary building, no major cons
Former Tenant
Pros:
Super lives in the building and was extremely responsive if anything went wrong (the upstairs apt leaked a lot of water for some reason).
Cons:
There’s no buzzer but the front door has a code. My apartment had no sink in the bathroom, it was right outside the bathroom. You get used to it but kind of ugly to look at. You have to pay rent by check which can get kind of annoying. The garbage bins are right outside the door and can get kind of messy.
Advice to owner:
Update to an electronic payment method and put the garbage bins within some kind of larger container system.
