Great apartment, dramatic rent increases though
Former Tenant
Pros:
Great location next to East River facing waterfront, markets and grocery stores, cafes, locally owned businesses.
Cons:
Floors are paper thin so it is like living with two other floors of roommates. You'll get to know everyone in the building whether you want to or not. Rent increase guaranteed every year, sometimes at over $1000 so be mindful and lock in a slightly more expensive two year rate then be ready to find somewhere else to live afterwards.
Advice to owner:
Switch property management companies from STE Management (unresponsive, and automated).

Solid management and a lovely apartment
Former Tenant
Pros:
Management of the apartment was responsive and the super was very kind
Cons:
We did have a pest problem that management never solved on their own. They did provide monthly pest control services but the issue was only finished after we did an in depth inspection and filled multiple holes that were allowing mice in.
