Jan is a good man

Pros:
Always found Jan responsive and took care of things. I've rented from Jan from two different properties and both experiences were good. In this apartment we had a pest issue, and Jan had it taken care of within a week. I've had bad landlords, he is not one of them.
Cons:
the units are updated but the core infrsatructure of the bldg is old and could use updating-- the internet lines were a problem for a month but they were eventually fixed. not on the landlord as he did not control the lines (issue laid at the power pole) but a note that the building in general is older.
Advice to owner:
enjoyed our time here. cameras would be good on upper floors since we are on major street. no crime issues in the bldg while we were here but you never know.
