Mouse infested & electrical dangers
Former Tenant
Pros:
It was quiet
Cons:
I lived on the first floor and not only had constant leaks, but decaying floors and a literal mouse infestation. An electrical storm hit the building one day, and blew out almost $6000 worth of electrical equipment; TV, soundbar, subwoofer, etc. I had to have a private contractor come in to prove that it was both the building’s fault along with the cable company. After a 2 month fight, the cable company reimbursed me every last dime.

Not only that, but the apartment was infested with mice. I would go nights killing 5-7 mice a night with traps behind the sink and oven. With the leaks, mice, electrical dangers and decaying floors, I broke my lease and threatened to report the landlord. In all honesty, the landlord was a sweet old Italian man who meant well, but he was not equipped with dealing with these disasters. This was about 3 years ago, I do not know how the building is now, but I would consider that apartment to be condemned and unlivable.
Advice to owner:
Fix the building so people don’t die of electrocution or the plague from all the mice everywhere!
