Nightmare landlord

Pros:
Great location. Apartments are well maintained.
Cons:
The landlord and her family are completely insane. They don’t allow window unit air conditioners on Leonard street because they don’t like the look of them. Therefore the main bedroom won’t have AC. They look through tenets trash and will comment on the contents. They live across the street and monitor who comes into the building. The husband of the landlord is racist and would rush over and harass visitors or delivery people of color. Every time my parents came to visit, the land lady would rush over and knock on my door and accuse me of putting the apartment on Airbnb. When my upstairs neighbor’s 20 year old refrigerator finally died, they refused to replace it and accused her of sabotaging the fridge. They tried to evict me on the insane claim that I was running an illegal brewery and it was because I received a beer making kit for Christmas.
When we did not renew our lease and gave them notice of moving out, they sent us another eviction notice AFTER we moved out and had already returned the keys.
They are crazy!
