If you are thinking about living in the basement
Former Tenant
Pros:
The basement has courtyard access, is relatively quiet, and actually has nice light which is rare for basement apartments.
Cons:
The basement apartments were hit HARD with the heavy rains and flooded on several occasions. There was a consistent roach infestation but the building had regular visits from the pest control company.
Advice to owner:
The basement could benefit from weekly if not more sweeping as there were many times where the hallways were covered in roach carcasses that were left to sit there for weeks. Not a pleasant experience as a resident paying a huge sum of money to live there.
