Beware of landlord
Former Tenant
Pros:
- New building, only 6 units
- Neighborhood
- Nice layout
Cons:
- Landlord has not returned the deposit over a year later
- Garbage piled up in front of the doorway brought rats
- Common areas and stair wells were dirty almost all the time
- Slow responsiveness from landlord to fix major leaks and ceiling cave-in on two seperate occasions
- Slow responsiveness from landlord to fix fire alarms beeping nonstop for months until reported to the fire department
- Electric stove working on/off
- Landlord terminated lease then saw it re-listed by $1875/month
Advice to owner:
Return your previous tenants' security deposits instead of ghosting them and causing them to take further action
