Unexpected Williamsburg Gem
Former Tenant
Pros:
This building is really in a unique sweet spot of the city. The amenities provided (laundry in building, shared roof, dishwasher in unit, laundry/heat and more) are a huge plus. There are always parties going on and neighbors are friendly.
Cons:
Electric bill is always very high and doesn’t seem to reflect the usage per unit. Also laundry machines should be maintained or cleaned more thoroughly

Pretty good building
Former Tenant
Pros:
Rooms were nice and big
Bunch of amenities
Rooftop really nice
Never really had any issues whatsoever - nothing to mention is a good thing!
Security deposit returned without issue
Cons:
Close to BQE so loud
Outrageous utilities, very poor management
Former Tenant
Pros:
Clean, secure, great location
Cons:
I lived in a studio apartment and my ConEd ran from anywhere between $100-350. Yes, $350 for electricity. We were told it would be around $80.

Emailed the building managers multiple times - didn’t get a response until I called them. They did nothing.
Advice to owner:
Get new central heating - stop ripping off your tenants.
