Awful experience — rats, roaches, and intruders
Former Tenant
Pros:
Large space, nothing else
Cons:
Once I moved in, I was met by gross living conditions — rats, roaches, and centipedes which the landlord did nothing about. My apartment was also broken into, which my landlord claimed couldn’t have been anyone else other than someone I gave the key to. She essentially made me feel like it was my fault and did nothing to remedy the issue. She then kicked me out with short notice saying she needed the apartment for her father and mother’s home attendant. I shortly realized after that she actually rented the apartment to someone else, who knows why — potentially my concern over the break in or her clear discomfort with my LGBTQ+ identity. Awful experience, do not trust this landlord.
Advice to owner:
Don’t pretend to be a kind, always there for you landlord when in reality all you do is gaslight women into thinking their wrong to be concerned about their safety
